Due to the Town Meeting tonight at 7:30, Pack 194 will shorten the Pack Meeting to allow folks to attend. The Pack Meeting will start as usual at 7pm, but we will try to conclude by 7:25. There are some announcements of upcoming events and some youth recognitions tonight, so we hope that you can join us.
Since learning about citizenship is an important part of the Scouting program, we encourage folks to head over to the Town Meeting afterwards with your boy(s) to show them first-hand a little of how government works on the local level.
This year Pack 194 is piloting a new fund raiser by having a kids stuff rummage sale on April 9th. You should have already heard about this from your den leader, but all of the details are now on the Pack 194 website at the URL: http://pack194.net/kid-stuff-sale/
We are looking for volunteers to assist with bringing items over on the afternoon/evening of April 8th as well as staffing the event on the 9th. Please contact Kate Reynolds at: kwinterfield[AT}hotmail.com if you have stuff to donate or can assist with the event.
Apologies for the short notice, but I was reminded today of a Scout Shabbat going on in Lexington tonight for Scouts of the Jewish faith. The details are as follows:
Friday, March 18th at 7pm at Temple Shalom Emeth (16 Lexington Street, Burlington). Scouts should come in their class A uniform. There will be a Oneg (coffee hour) after the service. All Scouts will receive a patch for attending. The event is optional, but I know some Pack 194 folks were planning on going. If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact David Sandler (dsandler92[AT]gmail.com)
