The details for the campfire/pack meeting are now posted! They can be found at the URL: http://pack194.net/upcoming-events-2/
There will be songs, skits, and s’mores!
The campfire/pack meeting is for all levels: Tigers – Webelos 2. All dens should come and participate in the program.
For Tigers, the campfire is the only pack program for the day. For other levels, stay tuned for more details from you den leaders as there may be additional programming during the day/evening depending on level.
Apologies for the short notice, but we were able to arrange for show-and-sells for the popcorn fundraiser for this weekend at the Bedford Stop-n-Shop. Boys can sign-up for a 90 minute shift at the URL: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0844afae2da7f58-popcorn
This is the easiest way for boys to rack up sales credit towards a prize. The popcorn fundraiser is the main source of funding for the Scouting activities that we will do throughout the year. Boys should wear the class A uniform for this event. This is not a drop-off event. A parent should stay with the boy during their shift.
A new section has been added to the website called, “Popcorn Central.” It contains all of the important details regarding the fundraiser including due and delivery dates and PDFs of all of the relevant forms.
Boys should set a sales goal and try to reach it. It is a very short fundraising season, so the time is now!
For those interested in this fun evening of professional hockey and time together as a Pack, please see the official flier here for details on the event and how to sign-up. Each year this event is one of the most popular all-pack events of the year! The deadline for sign-ups is Oct. 25th.
I heard from a number of folks who were disappointed at the thought of missing the rescheduled rocket launch due to travel plans for the long, Columbus Day Holiday weekend. As a result, we will push the rocket launch to some time in the spring.
Due to a forecast that calls for a pretty consistent wind throughout the planned event, we have decided to postpone the rocket launch. An official announcement about a rescheduled date and time will be forthcoming, but we are currently hoping for next Sunday.
Sunday, October, 4th – October Sky Rocket Launch 12pm – 3pm
Lower Field (H) at the John Glenn Middle School

This annual boy favorite will be back once again. For a nominal pass-through fee of $12 boys will be able to purchase a rocket kit and two engines to fire rockets high in the air (cash or check to: Pack 194). There will also be food from the grill to enjoy as well. Siblings and friends are welcome to come as well and join in the fun.
